The spiral is one of the most intriguing parts of the logo, and was chosen deliberately because of how it encapsulated the Aztec Dreamer design approach. The spiral represents the idea generation process that takes often complex concepts and the usually un-countable possibilities that each presents, spiraling them around and around and around, forging them together until the eventual design fusion at the spiral's vortex. It represents the journey of our ideas and a faith in the Aztec Dreamer process.

Also the spiral makes for an enchanting symbol in its own right, sucking its viewer in to look at it, and kind of adding a sense of movement to the design. It also fits in with the imagery of the rest of the image, giving a strange sense of an apocalyptic dreamy world in keeping with the Aztec imagery.

The beating heart of the design - the temple represents the Soul of the Aztec Dreamer process. It is a symbol of worship, awe and sacrifice, and something greater then itself. It imposes itself on one's imagination, forcing consideration. All this is from an imaginative, creative, standpoint, but it mimics the design of the most famous Aztec pyramid of Tenochtitlan, which commanded reverence through ritualistic human sacrifice. It is also the solid, "real" structure in the design, therefore representing the tactile and the tangible, as well as being the place in which all the Aztec Dreamer magic happens. One can only imagine what lays inside.

To the Aztecs These pyramids also represented mountains, a source of life-sustaining water and fertility, and they were also considered as abodes of ancestral spirits, since most important people were buried within them.

The Aztecs worshipped the sun and moon. It was in fact the essence for why they built such huge pyramids in their honour. The sun flare represents the energy and colour of the Aztec Dreamer process and orbits around the central, circular section of the design like an eclipse - an event so special to the Aztecs as to be revered. It symbolises alignment, togetherness and balance of all the creative forces - all important aspects of Aztec Dreamer design philosophy . The Aztecs truly believed that when the planets, etc.. aligned, it was possible to see the 'Celestial body', from atop of the pyramid.

The Sun flare sits on sphere of black and blue, signifying change, contrast, space and water which again reinforces balance and flow. This allows the whole logo to spring to life, as well as enabling the colours in the design to almost glow outwards and catch the eye.
